We have proudly established an Energy Team that helps generate new initiatives for energy reduction at our sites.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In 2020, General Dynamics Land Systems\u2013Canada\u2019s main office building and central manufacturing facility in London, Ontario, became ISO 50001-certified. This certification aligns with General Dynamics\u2019 commitment to reduce its global environmental impact, decrease costs and remain competitive. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Standard is recognized internationally and gives organizations a structured framework to manage energy performance, efficiency, use and consumption. In addition, it complements a management system, already achieved, for environmental matters that is compliant with the current edition of ISO 14001.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">We also are pursuing energy efficiency in our products. Land Systems-Canada has designed and built and continues to test and evolve an electric, hybrid and other modes of power generation and distribution to the Light Armoured Vehicle platform. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In 2022, we joined other leading companies in establishing a greenhouse gas goal of lowering emissions by 40% by 2034. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">These are just some of the ways we\u2019re doing our part for the environment.
